Terms of Use

1. Introduction and scope

Lanon (“we”, “us”) operates the official mobile app on Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store), along with its website and any other distribution channels we announce. These terms govern your access to and use of everything within that scope (together, the “service”).

By installing or continuing to use the app, or by visiting our website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, together with these terms.

2. Eligibility and audience

The service is made for families, especially children using it together with an adult. If you do not have full legal capacity under the applicable law, you may use the service only with the consent or supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Purchases must be made by a parent or guardian.

The app you download from an app store must be a version published by us. We are not responsible for modified, cloned or otherwise unauthorized copies.

3. License and restrictions

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service under these terms, for reading, listening, learning and playing with the features we provide.

You may not: copy, bulk-collect, republish, sell, rent or commercially exploit any content (stories, audio, images, data) without written permission from the rights holder or from us where the law allows; interfere with, overload or disrupt our systems, APIs or security; use robots, scripts or other automated means to access the service beyond normal use; reverse engineer the app or circumvent its protections; or impersonate any person or organization.

4. Content and intellectual property

All content in the service (story text, audio, graphics, logos, interface and software) may be protected by the copyright of its authors, publishers or us. You may use it only for personal, non-commercial purposes and within the technical limits of the app or website (for example, listening to audio or reading on screen), unless stated otherwise.

If you believe any content in the service infringes your rights, please contact us through the feedback form in the app with supporting details; we will review your request.

5. The mobile app: installation, updates and features

Installing and updating the app is subject to the terms of Google Play or the App Store and to your device settings. Some features need an internet connection; any mobile data charges are your responsibility.

The app communicates with our servers to deliver content and to sync progress and in-app rewards. Details about technical data, device identifiers, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and device permissions are in our Privacy Policy.

You can manage some permissions (notifications, microphone) in your device settings or in the app. Declining a permission may make some features unavailable.

6. Premium and auto-renewing subscriptions

Some content is free. Lanon Premium unlocks the full service (for example all lessons, all learning games and unlimited stories) and is offered as an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store or Google Play, with monthly and yearly plans. The plans, prices and what they include are shown in the app before you buy; prices are set in your store’s currency and may vary by country.

• Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
• Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (month or year) at the same price, unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Free trial. If a free trial is offered, its length is shown before you start it. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged at the end of the trial. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings: on iPhone or iPad in Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android in Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. After you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies and the applicable law; we cannot issue refunds for store purchases ourselves.
• Restoring. Use “Restore purchases” in the app to restore an active subscription on a new or reset device signed in to the same store account.

7. Third-party links and services

The service may contain links to third-party websites or platforms (for example app stores). We do not control their content or policies; you access them at your own risk. In the app, links that leave the app are behind a parental gate.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running reliably, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every device. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, lost data or other damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service, unless the law requires otherwise.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we detect a breach of these terms, fraud or a security risk, or when required by law. You may stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the app; remember to cancel any subscription in your store settings.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the published version. For significant changes we may notify you in the app or by other reasonable means. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms, unless the law requires otherwise.

11. Governing law

Disputes arising from or relating to these terms, to the extent this does not conflict with mandatory consumer protection or other laws where you live, may be resolved under the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
